Behind Every Story,
There's a Vision.
Old Mountain Studios is a Cape Town production house creating films, commercials and visual stories for brands and artists. Founded in 2021, we bring ideas to life through
thoughtful storytelling, hands-on production
and a focus on what makes every story
worth telling.
From First Idea to Final Frame.
Every project starts with understanding what makes a story worth telling. From concept development and directing to camera work and editing,
we bring creative thinking and practical production experience together to create films that do more than look good – they make people feel something.
Experience Behind the Camera.
Our work includes commercials for PNet, Alumo Energy, Braai Broekie and Woodstock Brewery. Led by director and producer Deetlefs “Deets” Smith, Old Mountain Studios combines creative direction with hands-on production experience to bring each project from concept to screen.
